For medication?
Our Canton does not have a Pharmacy but the doctors in the Canton are "propharmacists". This means that the doctor's office has its own pharmacy and is supplied by the daily service of the CERP like a real pharmacy.
Otherwise the pharmacies are on the main road (2 in Bourg-d'Oisans, 1 in Les 2 Alpes and 1 in Monnetier les bains & much more when approaching Briançon).
In case of serious illness?
In case of a life-threatening emergency, the firemen (La Grave fire station), can dispatch the helicopter in order to be transported either to the Grenoble University Hospital (the most frequent) or to Briançon depending on the symptoms.
A " Helicopter " for helicopter landings is located in La Grave ( 300 meters from the property below), for high-mountain rescue operations.
